Found a great free camp site not listed in Camps7, this one is worth a stop if in the vicinity. If coming from the south turn right onto Bezzants road and follow a few hundred metre's, pass under railway bridge, it is on crown land, I believe there is no time limit.
thanks for the info, is there room for our 19m rig to turn around?
cheers
Robin

Hi Robin, it can be a bit tight, I would not take that size in, was limited with my size as to were I could park. I have to be very careful using a HiAce as a tug, not much ground clearance and can get stuck very easily.

Stayed behind the Deepwater Hotel, Easter Friday & Saturday, on the north side of town. Great spot. Free without power, $10.00 with power.

Hi there
Here is some of what Wikipedia has to say about Deepwater NSW
Deepwater is a parish and village 40 kilometres north of Glen Innes on the Northern Tablelands, New South Wales, Australia. At the 2006 census, Deepwater had a population of 323, with 489 people in the area.[1]
Deepwater is located on the New England Highway and the Main North railway line (now closed). The village is on the northern bank of the Deepwater River which is a tributary of the Mole River.
We stayed at Deepwater Common back in Dec.
It was very nice and the people in town were very friendly and welcoming!
I posted a number of pics on our Facebook page

Can't wait to get back out in the playground!
