I recently bought a second hand Mercedes dreamseeker campervan and until now haven't needed to put water in.
I can unlock the cap but it just turns around and I don't want to get too savage with it until I find out what i'm doing wrong.
if it wasn't the easter break, i'd phone the company I bought it from.
help would be appreciated
take care and travel safely!

Welcome Frednme,
I think you will find that if the cap just turns around you have locked it.
put the key in and turn it 90 degrees to where it is now and the cap should be able to be unscrewed normally.

Fred, if it is the same as the Camec on our van it just spins around when it is locked. Insert the key, hold the cap, and rotate the key a quarter of a turn anti clockwise, and then the cap can be screwed out.
Hope that helps.
PS I only know because I asked the same question two days ago.
