We seem to take a pack of soap with us each time along with new shavers and tooth brushes .. This is our 5th it way in this motorhome . We have 5 soap packs, 20 tooth brushes and 10 shavers.. Not to mention shampoo etc .. Soon forget the clothes you leave in motorhome after each trip too!! Even though we clean it out after each trip away..

When we got our new van 18 mnths ago we transferred all the usual gear over for cooking cleaning etc.we then put a complete new basic set of clothes in .At the end of each trip we only remove any foods or products that will not last 3 months.Kind of walk in walk out. Every now and then in a fit of madness when I go to Rivers store or whatever and buy a shirt etc ,if I really like it I buy 2 1 for home 1 for the van ,but I also remove 1 item that is similar so the wardrobe does not explode.I tend to buy my clothes like my wine ....nothing over $15 and yes ! I generally look like a tip wreck ! but once you pass 60 who cares . I live in Echuca so when you go to a fancy night out you always wear your good thongs .cause nobody cares.

I have a shower caddy from bunnings, around $70, that hold shampoo conditioner and body wash. Best thing I have, well one of them. Fill it up and forget until next time. No bottles. As far as toothbrushes etc, have seperate ones for mh and home.
We do the same as Moamajohn.........van is always stocked with standards and non disposable supplies. We add a few undies and socks, and perishable foods.
Taking off is a quick business these days.

We may be silly but each time we arrive home we rest a day then spend the next re-packing everything ready for the next jump-off.
Yes, a lot of things are duplicated but when we wind down the roof it's ready to go again.
Whatever you do forget, buy it on the way.
Our first shopping trip is usually Vinnies or Salvo's. Used double pluggers are so much more comfortable than those hard, new ones.

Our bus is always jump in and drive off, as soon as we get home we refuel, service if needed and restock our food stores 1 week before heading off. Unless we are home for a day or so then everything stays on. We got back Thursday from the nth east coast so we were off the road during easter, after the Anzac day weekend we head for the W coast and then to Aus. Much easier to have everything you need on board so can just leave whenever we feel like it.

Yes we clean up ready for next trip etc .. But it's funny the things you repackage just to be sure ! Sometimes the communication between myself and the Mrs is lacking in this dept .. Aha rather have too much soap than non . My English origins go back too many generations not to have soap..lol.. Usually takes two hours when we get home. Not too much goes back into house as its fairly stand alone now . Even the clothes are separate. Just food etc that doesn't last ..last thing is emptying out water tanks and topping up..all ready for next trip including fuel, oil , coolant , tyre pressure etc.

Yep, all of the linen, towels etc are "van stuff"... easily identified.
On arrival home the beds are stripped and all of the washing goes straight to the laundry, and straight back to the van when washed and dried. The floors get a good clean, then the beds get re-made- all spotless and ready for next time.
We make a note of any repairs etc and these get sorted, maintanance done, as early as we can- hate having to stay at home because the van's not ready.
I must say, though, that as we store the van in the yard, a day or so before we leave, the outside gets a wash and polish and the windows get a clean.

If we are short of Vegemite, toothpaste etc there's always the BUS !!! I find it quite amusing the stuff you duplicate on..
Oh yes the ipad charger kits etc etc.. Have two in the house and bus ...
