Howdyeee folks ,this is the first fish Julie has ever caught, it took her 20 minuted to land this beauty,,,, we asked a local what type of fish it was , He assured us it was a fresh water Tiger shark, hence the stripes on it, Am looking forward to our own Fish whisperer bill12 to verify that it is a Tiger shark, and that the local was not taking the piss out of us,,,,, stay excited Nomads, Billeeeeeee
Did you happen to get a better Side Pic of the Fish....
To show us more detail's..
Juergen
Psst you need to be careful of the types of fish you catch as the QLD government is VERY active with what are called Noxious fish species and it's a HUGE fine.. $220k if they really don't like you..

As a matter of fact, Bill12, he caught four fish - but let them all go - someone at the camp here says they caught a Murray Cod in this weir last week - they went through their book of Aussie Fresh Water Fish - and that was the only one that it looked like - I had been told there were some Murray Cod in Wuruma Dam, so I suppose they could be here as well.
