Looks good. I'm now trying to use up all my odd bits of wool from years of knitting.

Lovely rug happywanderer. Very lucky grandchildren.
I am using up wool by knitting squares to make into rugs. I am doing it for our local Oncology unit.

Lovely colours Marj. The old old story --using up all the wool we have. I've started that but it just doesn't seem to come to an end. Anyone know why? My mother-in-law crocheted many rugs before she finally called it quits and gave the last few balls away. Like me, she found it never seemed to come to an end. I always seem to have to buy another ball in 'that' colour to finish - and then I have leftovers again. Haha.

Me too Ruth. Always have to buy another ball or have half a ball left over.
So now, I buy what I think for the kids rugs and only finish when I run out of wool. Makes for some interesting finishes.
Have finished another rug, this time for my step grandson Coco who is 4.
He saw me finishing the last one and asked if he could have one too.
The last one went to his sister and I forgot to take a photo of it. It was powder blue, yellow and white.
The one before that I forgot to take a photo as well but it is laying over the back of the sofa in Café Phoenix in Biggenden.
If the colours are not coming through clear, this one is navy blue with lime green and orange.
