Just had the tug serviced and it was discovered that the rear cab (not tub) mounting bolts were missing. Rang Nissan to complain but they wouldn't help due to age and mileage of vehicle. The parts required to repair are expensive at $237.02. I would suggest that all owners check their navaras for the same problem. Would appreciate any feed back from this forum and any other forums.

Hi Alan
I would try a wreckers first,,, but if only bolts/plates etc you could buy bolts from specialist bolt supplier and maybe make up plates or spacers yourself or locally.

Cab mounts have a rubber mount between the cab & the chassis & often a stepped bolt so that it can be tightened without compressing the rubber mount to much.
In other words, correct bolts, mounts & plates/washers. Would have to be available from the wreckers.

I haven't posted this looking for fixes but more as a warning to other owners that they may have similar problems. the other mounting bolts are loctited in place and take a very high torque to undo. The bolts on the rear mounts have not broken but come loose and fallen out so possibly may not have been Loctite coated.
