Just wondering if you could suggest the most interesting way to travel to Emerald from Brizy?
We want to spend some time in the Gem Fields over June and July.
Any other tips for that area would be appreciated.
Thanks Len and Barb

Go up via Highway 17 to Biloela then either keep going to Capricorn highway then turn west or west at Bilo. Plenty of spots for an overnighter along the way. Turn off through the D'Aguila or Bells Bridge nth of Gympie or Biggenden from Maryborough. Bedford Weir just NW of Blackwater a great spot for a few days.

Why not go west to Roma, then north - and detour to visit Carnarvon Gorge on the way?
