Yep, I am all packed and hooked up ready to hit the highways and byways heading north to Townsville. I will be taking a risk on the humidity but I need to be there by 3 or 4/4/14 for reasons I hope to get sorted once there.
I won't have much time to smell the roses on the way up but that's fine. I will be stopping around the Sydney area for a few days though and looking forward to that then it will be tail between the legs and onward to Townsville.
Apart from Sydney I will be free/low cost camping each night. Not sure where until each day so no plans.

We have just arrived in Mornington Vic and can confirm the northern migration is well under way.
Lots and lots of lucky people heading north.
Still quite humid in Se Qld when we left on Wed.
Will be down here for a couple of weeks cleaning out mums house.
Mum has just moved into a Nursing Home and her house has been sold.
Third trip down this year. When we get back home we shall be hitching up the van and FINALLY
doing something for US!!!!!!!!

Cheers, Tony

Ah! but they have started. We passed heaps this morning when we drove from Geraldton down to Greenough! I just hope the idiot with the caravan who did a U-Turn on a blind corner, just in front of us, on the Brand Highway was not one of our forumites!
We start our northern trip on 2/4/14
