Daughter in law lives at Clarkson rang this morning to say it was bucketing down there and we may need to take a brolly to the caravan show. Clear blue skies up here at Seabird with nary a cloud in sight when she rang. By the time we got to Claremont it was blue skies so didn't see any rain whatsoever.

I'm in Mindarie and when I left for work at 5.45 there were lots of thunder but no rain. My wife called, i didn't check the time but it must have been around 9 saying part of the house was slightly flooded. No real damage. I don't think the existing gutter could cope.
My son who lives just up the road from us called me at 7.30 saying he'll be delayed because of the rain.
Thoughout all this not one drop fell on my car.

Yes, that drop of rain didn't do any good around home,
Just enough to wash a little dust off the Patrol, before the lot took off inland.
Tomorrows fore-cast is for a second helping of the same, even a bit of Hail is on the cards.
If tomorrow proves no good, next Wednesday and Thursday are shaping up to be a couple of Crackers.
Keep dry Folks K.J.

On the news tonight Mandurah didn't get any, I think they said now 106 days without rain.
We got a bit overnight/early morning in our suburb, 10kms north of Perth but sunny for the rest of the day...

The dry spell has ended for most parts of Perth,
North Side seems to be the place to be for water,
We, on the South Side, received a very light sprinkle,
and one really good clap of thunder this morning,
but it's all blown away again, back to sunny skies and into the 30s again.
