Remember the old Banana Lounges ( Or sun lounge) Well we just purchased 2 from Bunnings @ $20 each.
Light weight / folds down flat and easy to store in van or tow. Plus, can be used as a chair or adjusted to the rest position you desire.
Great for afternoon naps, under the awning of the shade of the good old gum tree. ( No falling branches please.)
We use to take them to the beach on the Goldie many, many years ago.

A Pic. would be good. Would help to know if it's worth a 60K round trip to get one.
Cheers,
Sheba.

J&D: - We use our banana chairs similar to you and also find them handy if we go off road in the tent as a bed.
Just add a blow up air mattress for a good nights sleep.

I agree with Rosie. Banana lounges are too low for Arthritic knees.
Several family members have the kind that Vic has posted from ebay. I've used them, very comfy, higher, and easier to get off. The only problem is they're a little heavier, and bulky.
I haven't tried the gumtree style one, but I can imagine hurting my bum on the side bar trying to get on it.

Yes, the photo of the product is exactly what I am referring to.
Very versatile product. And is great value for the $$$$.
Yes, great for camping when using as a bed, as it is up off the ground and away from those little and big nasties.
I think, we had better warn Bunnings to increase their stock levels.

Thanks Vic. I think I'll get one on Monday, if there are any left.
Cheers,
Sheba.
Some use these as they are higher off the ground, not sure if they lay dead straight though as I have never had one, more expensive though...

Saw these on Gumtree, not full recline by the look of them, but for $50 used (Ipswich Qld) they look a good buy;
(the price doesn't say each or for both);

So the ebay kind would be my pick.
