I am planning on living in a caravan without a town water supply. Can anyone recommend a hot shower system. I would probably set it up outside the van.

yoeleven has a good outdooystem called hot water on demand it is a coleman I think runs on gas

BCF have the Companion Cube gas water heater on special at present for $299, and they will also have a shower cubicle and other stuff if required.
Arthur you need to be a bit more specific .Are you in a park ?,or the middle of nowhere ? do you have 240 volts always ? Is it 100% never moved? I can save you a few bucks but fill us in . John

It will be on a 1/2 acre building block-initially powered from only what I can provide (generator, solar etc). Don't intend to move it, maybe after the house is completed.

If it was semi-permanent then I'd go solar with this unit:
