Hi my Waeco fridge won't run from my agm battery. I get red flashing light error. Was running with solar panel attached. If I use the low batt override it works. Batter should be fully charged.
Any advice please?

It would appear that the battery is either not fully charged or faulty, ie low capacity.
On which voltage setting do you have the battery protection?

Hi Brian
As far as I can see there is the 240v and 12v cords, using the 12v. My controller has a continual readout saying battery is near full charge. The battery is 100AH agm.

Sounds like low battery voltage to me. I have 2 Waeco's.
What is battery voltage:
1 On no load with fridge OFF
2 With fridge ON.
This could answer the question.

If you look in the area where the 240v and 12v plug into the fridge, there should be a switch with the setting HIGH/LOW/MEDIUM. Try in on low. If red light still comes on the battery is not fully charged of faulty.

Thanks for your replies. The Waeco seems to work fine with the solar panels connected in sunny weather, but doesn't want to run off the battery alone. The controllers seem to cut out before the battery is charged to capacity.
I'll have a look for that high low switch thanks Reeb, I don't recall seeing one.
Thanks
