Would like to hear about caravan annexe pro's and con's. I would like to get one but my hubby's not keen. Going to have a look at them tomorrow...

Welcome to the forum Cruisers.
I think your post is in the wrong section unless you want the annex for the dogs, in which case there are easier ways to keep them under control.

Good,, but I recommend you visit the "factory" and see the quality/care they put into their product. Maybe pay a bit more for quality,, we did and it has paid off.
Cheers Baz

Hi baz yes we went to the factory where they make annexe, the quality is very good and we also have friends that have just bought one from same place. They will have our van for a week to measure & make. Also to fit 'things' to the van, then when we pick it back up they will teach us how to take it down, then put it back up etc.. I can't wait

Great,, it's good to see someone who's organised and knows how to cut to the chase as it were.

To keep it pet related it's great for a dog. We had our long side made with a window that went to almost ground level so that our dog can sit there and watch the world go by and not have to be on a lead. We also enjoy sitting there, especially in cooler weather. We use a blow heater then to warm the area. It's a good storage area too.

Ditto, our annex, full walls, and a skirt at the bottom of the van kept our border collie safe with out him having to be tied up all the time. Also, in summer, when the flies are bad, the long wall, which like BruDi's is mostly screen, so you can sit there, and not be annoyed by the pesky little critters.
When we are camped up for longer periods, i.e. when working or house sitting, we also put it up to give us more room, other than just sitting in the van.
