We have 10 days to get away and haven't done the Cobram /Yarrawonga area before . Interested in free camps and maybe a night or two in a park May get as far as Albury Wodonga for a quick look but prefer to stay around the river area
any good suggestions, we are planning to go mid to end of April. Also tips on what to see in the area. Thanks for any help

Victoria goes back on the 22nd which is the day we leave so hopefully will miss the school holiday makers. NSW are still on holidays so I guess that could be a problem

There is a free camp I think its right across the river from Toc, ask when you arrive, the locals will know.

At Toke they have what is called the town beach it has a dump point toilet and showers and the charge was $5 per night.
You have a choice of camping in the shade or out in the open.
If you cross the bridge into Vic. there is camping on the left alongside the Murray and also on the right.
If you get the Camps book you will find that there are many camp spots along the Murray near Cobram. Most are non powered and only a couple have toilets.
