Gee that's looking great ....... do you just get the ideas off the top of your head, real life, or follow turorials? I have recently started on this road and find it so enjoyable I have passed on all my scrapbooking equipment to my daughter for her to use with the grandaughter. At this stage, I am devouring online tutorials and following along with them like an out of control karoke singer. Need to perfect the blending of colours and brush strokes before attempting anything too challenging. I have a distinct advantage as a good friend is an artist and she actually enters her work int he Archibald - she checks out what I do and then gives me my "homework" ........ doesn't matter how old you get, there is always homework.
Keep up the great work .....

Thanks guys.
Libby i am following Jerry Yarnells books which are really designed for acrylics, but i find if i do the oils in stages i can still put in all the layers. Just let one dry before i do the next layer of detail.
Have 4 more in diff stages of completion.

I will be finished with the first two books in his series soon if your interested in them. $10 each. I have the first 4 all of which teach tou a diff aspect, such a how to use light, water and lots of goodies. It goes from basic to advanced, all landscapes.
Each book takes you step by step thru around 8 - 10 paintings and teaches you what colours to mix etc. they are great value.
This is my latest painting. I think im getting the hang of it.
Yep reckon you are Freehazza. Fantastic!!
