.. I recently viewed the result of a small caravan that had exploded .. No-one was injured fortunately ..
The apparent cause was the result of 3 mortein 'roach "bombs" that had been set off to fumigate the van during the day in their absence ..
They had however, neglected to switch off any "pilot" lights before they left ..

Apart from the mistake of neglecting the pilot light, 3 bombs in a small van was a bit over the top! I let one all-purpose bomb off in my slide-on ages ago and it took care of ants no problem. It also took care of an occasional ant that wandered in thereafter for many months.

And to think for the next few months you'll be breathing and otherwise ingesting tiny amounts of the insecticide.

I saw a van with no side in it after the couple lit a match to light the gas hot plate,
unbeknown to them there was a gas leak ,KABOOM.
Neither of them were killed but they did get serious burns.
Caravan went to caravan heaven.

Good idea to turn off all the gas and electrics when using any type of aersols or flammable solvents , glues etc inside the vapours are normally heavier than air and will fall ot the floor and spread out and if the fridge or water pump kicks in you have an ignition source . Three workers killed in the blue mountains sometime back laying floor titles in a cafe and the freezer kicked in and that was the end of that title laying exercise
