Ipswich showgrounds is open for camping, excepting for show time, which I think is May/June - they have a good flea market on Sunday mornings there. Very handy spot, can catch bus to town and station. Easy to find - on Brisbane Road, on the roundabout.

Hi Suenray This is a place in Ipswich that I was told about The link should take you to the website.
Hardings Paddock is out of Ipswich - between Yamanto and Peak Crossing on the Boonah Road - heard it is a good place, think it is unpowered though.

Ipswich showgrounds I believe is 1 week maximum. Go away for a night & you're welcome back.
Marburg showgrounds is about 15 minutes west, off the Warrego highway. 2 months at a time.
Haven't stayed at either but this is what I have been told.
My son has camped at Hardings paddock & found it a great place.
April is school holidays & Easter this year. May prove to get sorted early.
