Offering free parking on our front lawn at Crescent Head - for some very talented person who is clever, wise, talented & knows what they are doing in regards to fitting solar.
Depending on assets & skills, there may be a connection to front tap available.
Also if they have own tools the window may be left open enough to run a power cord out of.
If the final outcome of solar fitting is of extremely high quality, there could be an added bonus of Weber Q meal & possibly a light refreshment.
As you can see all options are negotiable, please feel free to pm me your details, once all applications are received the lucky GN's will be notified, joint applications may be accepted if shown that skills are higher in different departments.

What an enterprising person you are.

You don't mention a time schedule however.
How long can one park on your lawn after the job is done?

Fitting Solar Power and appropriate wiring is very hard work and great knowledge and skill is required and I tell you that for free.
With that information I would suggest one week minimum is required to carry out work required . Water, power and sustenance is also needed and a Weber Roast accompanied by good Alcohol and friends is standard practice for Solar Power installation. It is any instruction manual. In fact it is well known in the Solar world that without the Weber Roast Solar Power just doesn't work.

I guess from looking at whats on offer you are also hoping we will supply the solar panels of your choice as well as a regulator and an inverter of your choice in addition to all the wiring and fittings and then issue you with a letter of appreciation for your hospitality..

Gee Bob, do you think i would be that much of a scrooge, willing to supply all that is needed for the install.
Must say though if the person has the knowledge to recommend the best gear needed, I am prepared to also throw in the option of using my facilities for the time here, so they don't have to worry about emptying their grey & black tanks after their week or so in paradise.
If Wombat applies for the position ( not sure if he will because i stated someone clever, wise & talented ) I will even try and locate the big python that hangs around & relocate it.
Not really a bad offer I thought for a week or 2 in the best little place on the coast & don't forget you get the pleasure of meeting me & the best lady ever made ( I am biased there I know).

To be honest I would rather do jobs like that in my own workshop where I have all my tools and gear at my fingertips and know where to go to get any extras if they are needed like mounting brackets..
Also when ya working it is still work no matter if it is here at Grafton or in the middle of Paradise..
Ohhhh and I wouldn't argue with you about Crescent Head we lived at Port for years back in the 70's and often went up there..

Have to say that I agree, it is a great place...I spent 2 weeks there 30 years ago and an old friend who lived there, Eric Sussman (probably dead now) took the wife and I flying in his private plane and I played a couple of rounds of golf there and hired and old set of clubs from the 'pro' shop, it had an old East Bros. blade Putter in it (rusting) and I just coudn't miss a putt with it, went around 5 over then 1 over the next time ( my handicap was 10 at the time), I was so impressed that I offered the bloke $10 for the putter, he refused and I ended up pestering him to death and ended up buying it for $20...i never sank a putt with it in 2 games at home and it is still under the house and unused since
the only downside with the place was at the time the 'red weed' was full on and the creek was running a tea colour for the entire time.

Yes, Crescent is a nice place and great fishing too, but for the equivalent of what? say $500.00 a day, you could get a pretty fine room in a flash hotel. Maybe not the same scenery i suppose though.

Wizard - Eric is still alive, but don't see him here much these days. His partner of a few years prefers the gold coast, he owns places up there as well. He is a great old bloke & still flying as far as I know. I am actually the person in the golf shop now, took over the business about 5 years ago. So if you take up my offer I will throw in a free game of golf with cart . If you don't take up the offer of accommodation barter still come and see me, will give you a good deal.
03_troopy - you have lost me, are you saying accommodation is $500 a day here, if so you are definitely looking in the wrong spot.

But you have forgotten to take into account a few things in the offer for the right person & extra bonuses have been added
1. Site fees, currently at this time of year = $45
2. Food, $16 for g a roast an a lot of places, presuming that person taking up offer has a partner = $32
3. Golf, $12 each plus electric cart @ $20, clubs, balls, tees $20 = $64.
4. Light Refreshments, being conservative at 6 (would expect and supply more if required) per person @ $2 = $24
5. Clean Facilities at all times, no actual price but certainly a bonus compared to some places of stay.
6. The opportunity to stay in Paradise, also an added bonus.
6. Mate ship, the chance to spend time with me and lovely Girlfriend = Priceless
So really I think $500 may be a little over the top

The other alternative is for Woolly to come here and bring his BBQ and be the camp cook and anyone that likes can come along as well and we can have a working bee on anyones gear that needs some attention (small jobs not major reconstruction)..
I have 75acres of parking space so long as we dont get a flood as we are on a flood plain.
There is only one small problem and that is we are off tomorra for about 8 weeks..

Bob, in reply to your inquiries,
Is your BBQ big enough for all of us.. - Weber Q is all good there, if it doesn't quite fit the roast I will pull out the spit roaster
Is your fridge big enough - Depends, if solar installation works definitely as 160l fridge in van will be up & running
Is your pocket big enough.. - It generally is not an issue, just need to hide wallet from SWMBO
Is your arm long enough.. - to get wallet from pocket always. To reach stubbies in fridge, I'll move closer to fridge to achieve outcome.
Is your boat big enough. - this could be the clincher, lost that when SHTSMBO ( she who thought she must be obeyed) & I divorced.
do you have enough bait - If not you just may have to spend an extra day or so in paradise while we catch more.
Is there enough room for both of us.. - Shouldn't be an issue
====================
Now what do you want done ??????
do you know how much solar watts you need. - If i was smart enough to work that out I would be smart enough to install
do you know what your usage will be.. - Please see above
do you have somewhere to put the batteries - Yes
Now the interesting issue of a tradies ass has been risen.
Now if the tradies ass is there to just learn, it may be a way of funding part of the installation, for most trade course are charged for. So maybe if the charge was $100 a day to be shown by such learned people that would be quite reasonable.
But if the tradies ass is there to help by getting tools, sweeping etc & learning along the way, while the tradies were doing install I think there could be an arrangement made. My only worry is if the tradies ass couldn't handle being told what to do or ribbed occasionally by the tradies, would we eventually see the tradies ass crack ?
