Looking at fitting a bra on the front of the van, have checked out several sites but nothing what I am looking for.
On our last trip the van next to us had a simple and easy device on his. All it was is a rail across the front of the van
just above the boot lid which he slid a piece of vinyl through and attached the base to the under part of the van.
Simple to put on and remove. Cant find any one who makes them.

The bra I am referring to works the same way a car Bra works, Stopping bugs, tar and stones etc.
Not sure if they are made in different sizes, I may have get it made but who

Oh, I thought they were called bug shields. I saw a heap at one of the car places. Think it was supercheapauto.

Yes Supercheap Auto do carry Car Bra's but not for vans and yes they could come under different names never thought of that.

It may be worth talking to an annex maker as they can make it to fit your van and it should not only do the job but look good too

We have discovered a RV Accessory ware house not far from where we live but it is closed, hopefully only for Christmas New Year break.
Will check them out when they reopen hopefully

We have a pop top, have a rope track along the front of the top frame; a full length canvas blind that tuckes in behind the gas bottles etc & is held down with 4 ocky straps.
When set up we use the same blind for a front awning, keeps the front of van cooler & can keep window & vent open when raining.
No bugs, tar, or front damage.Also keeps driving rain out from boot & front window when travelling.
Had it made by a canvas guy, first one is now well worn & tested so having another made as we speak.

A suggestion put to us with our new van was a piece of sail track above the front window so that a canvas awning/bra (?) could be attached and come down over the front, then when you get to a camp site or where ever you bring it out and create an awning on two poles over the front of your van. Hmm .... think that makes sense - just got up from my SCAN (senior's compulsory afternoon nap). Will be heading down to an annex maker shortly, as our van was found under the Christmas tree, have not had time to organise it before this.

John, dont know how handy you are but this is what I done to ours, mounted a frame on the A-frame ; adjustable slideouts on the top to tension sideways & use a curved roof rafter to tension/support to top.
No need for ropes/pegs etc. The frame piviots in a V shaped mount on the tow/Aframe. when not in use it sits back & is locked the same angle as the front of van . I guess I do these things because I can & to be a little different. LOL
Had our full height padded PVC one made by a motor trimmer in Bundaberg to avoid further stone damage from oncoming traffic on Qld's multitude of roadworks. Sail track across van just below pressure hatch, four small bungee loops/hooks down each side plus five of the same across the bottom. Folds up above the boot lid when we're camped although may investigate the front awning idea. Full height van as we live in it permanently.

You had me wondering what a "Car Bra" was, can't say I've seen one !!
Is it something like this "Truck Bra" which we spotted while traveling through the North West, In Pannawonica ???.............
