G'day fellow Nomads, been awhile since I have posted or visited site, had a few issues with health, computer and tow vehicle. All good now back in Tassie for a short while but the weather since coming back in November has been dismal at best, lots of wind, rain and cold, cant wait to get on the road again and some warmer weather. Trip last year will give me memories lasting for years, 16,000 klms, nearly as much in money but some very good times of visiting places where I have worked and visited before I retired. The gulf country, the Kimberlys, the desert, the heat, the flies, the coldness in the south have all added to a worthwhile and great experience. This year travel will not be as great but will be heading for Queensland in April. Have done abit of mining on the body to remove stones which caused immense pain and health issues in the gulf. Bore water for us southerners can cause issues especially if high in calcium. Cant wait to again hit the road and join the many who are living the dream.
Whilst on the road put pen to paper when bored, hope you like the poem, Time fly's by.

G'day
Maybe I done it the wrong way, try this way
Time Flys By
By Kevin L Fairbrother
As we grow older, time just seems to fly
We welcome the new day and in no time we are
Looking at the night sky
We forget to do what we had just done
We cant do what we used to, but try
We have to watch our diet both day and night
A night sleep is always interrupted
Cause the pills we take keep us awake
And the bladder, well, just wont wait
The past we wondered how we coped
Raising a family with a full time job
Now its a full time job just remembering
What we need and what someone tells us
We have no need of a fancy watch
For time flys by and a watch, just wont keep up
Crowds of people, create to much noise
We look for somewhere quite to hide
Spend our time saying sorry, I did not hear
The younger generation dont understand
For they challenge with what would you know
The past is so different from what is now
Growing old is a race to the grave
A race that we just cant win
As the time just flys by
