Well done to them too. I wonder how the one day series will go, due to start also.

After the thrashing they/we got in England it was a joy to watch. Hopefully we can take it up to the Springboks who are the current Number 1. Love my cricket, love it more when we when. Ecstatic when we whup im good.
Really good to see the Southern Cross being called at the end of play. Hope that is a tradition that keeps up. Channel Nine didn't even 'bleep' the end. Good stuff.

Below is a cut and past from another thread I started.
I must admit that I never thought that we could take the series 5 to zip.
But I will take 5 to zip any day against the POMS.
Ashes Test. Can we make it 5 in a row.

Well as I say, can we make it 5 in a row in the test series against the POMS.
Boxing Day tests is about even after day 2.
What a great result it would be to take it out 5 nil.
But at the end of the day as long as it is a great game in 4 and 5, who cares, as we have the Ashes in our keeping.
But 5 would be nice.

And to think, that we nearly missed having Johhno in the team.
I thought that Smithy and Rogers and Haddin were fantastic with the bat.
Great captaincy and catches by Clarkey.
Well done boys, No of to South Africa. after the O/Ders for more success.

I used to think that Aussies were shocking losers but now
I think that they are even worse winners...

The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything. They just make the most of everything they have.
Your slogan on your post. I think your word " Happiest" must be a typo.
Now my comments as below.
Rosco.
Hard to let this comment of yours go unchallenged.
I am guessing that you must be a POM, and I am also guessing that the POM's flag is now flying at half mast at your place or on the van.
Again, I guess that you have a bit each way, have some respect for the Australian way of life, and then like to sink the boot in if and when you can. We Aussies like to celebrate not only winning under the Southern Cross, but kicking ass along the way. It is some much fun that way, especially if is a 10 pound POM making comments about this great country of ours.
But then again maybe you just do not appreciate what winning is all about.
Anyway, you are certainly in the minority, and you can cry in your warm beer with the rest of the Barmy Army, ( that is if you are not a true blue Aussie.)
