For those travelling to tasmania and wanting a good base to see the Huon Valley, Tahune Airwalk, Kettering, etc. I can highly recommend riversedgecamping.com at Lonnavale.
Access is through Huonvale and there is about twenty km's of dirt road in good condition.
Riversedge is as described, a farmstay with power and water available or non-powered sites. The sites are huge and showers and toilets available.
Sites also have fire pits and the farmer can supply good quality wood.
Very picturesque, more like bush camping than in a caravan park.

Looks great. I'm putting a list together of places to visit. This just went on the list.
Very reasonable rates.
Thanks for the tip.

There is a free camp out of Huonville, at Judbury - right next to the Huon River, flushing toilets, water and bbq. At the recreation oval, on gravel at the front, room for possibly 5 or 6 vehicles.
