We put a New Ibis in our 9.8mtr bus about 6mths ago and couldn't be happier....
We now have a different bus and wouldn't even consider using anything else...
WHY you ask
Ease of installation.
Compact size.
Very little loss of internal roof clearance.
Low outside profile.
Self supporting as it sits on the roof..
I am also going to put this post on your other thread..

I think I paid around $1800 for the last one in Aug 2013 mate and fitted it myself..
I know there are cheaper ways of going but to me they are a fit and forget..
Also if I were to hang a split system off the back of the bus I would have 2 problems.
1. I would need to strengthen the back of the bus to take the weight above the boot lid.
2. It would make the overhang rear of the back wheels illegal..

Gday Fitzy I too have the coromal lifestyle . We purchased the 667 we went the truma avanta comfort by dometic we als o went with the dometic rm4805 fridge freezer. We purchased the honda 20iu generator. Which I can guarantee will run both these units at once.we have solar setup to run everthing else. When free camping fridge on gas if airco needed fire up the honda no probs. We are off to port smith in june for 4 months have a powered sight so wont need the genny until we travel back home and while we are relaxing having a cold one fire up the genny for a good night sleep. We got the honda with a spare filter litre of oil tool kit honda cover delivered to my door within 2 days from order from aussie honda on the net. Cheers Bowsie

Goo day,
I have a Dometic B3000 Plus aircon on our 21' van! We try to get it to function but the E1 code come on every time! It refers to an internal thermo prober or thermo replacement batteries! Just can't find the battery location on any other indication on how to replace them. Can anyone on here help? Never heard of replacement thermo batteries before! This is not the AA batteries on the remote but batteries inside the aircon unit! Thanks in advance!
