Thank you Jules for that post. While we were only thre for a couple of days this time it just goes to show how popular Greens Lake has become. It was wonderful to catch up with so many fellow travellers. Thanks for taking on the head of site role, carried out with excellent oversight. Enjoy your journey and take care.
Travel safe

Hi Darrell and Sandra,
We are stopped at Ensay for a couple of nights and have tried those extra long Stud timber screws for the tiedown ropes, they work great really impressed with how firm they screw into "Old Mother Earth". We had an o/nite stay at Pioneer Bridges near Everton and sat down for a Happy Hour with a Lady named Sandy (Mazda E3500 M/Home)and a young bloke named Rod who had the largest Solar set up in a Box trailer I have ever seen. He said it come from his house 4 x 150watt panels, 6 x 120A/H Gell Batteries, 2 x 300 or 400 amp shunts, 3000 watt inverter and a very large MPPT regulator, all absolutely massive.
No sooner had we turned up and I was asked about getting her Kipor 2kva going as she had never used it (not even any oil in it). She needed to use it as her batteries were down to 11.3v not good at all.
We had a great drive over the mountains without any mishaps. Hope you are both travelling well.
Cheers Kev and Kim.

Glad you had a good trip over the mountains - and you must look like a "handy" man - you are always being asked to help with things - between you and Darrel, those at Greens, were very lucky indeed!!!!! Thanks heaps Kev - g'day Kim!!!!!

Good to hear you made it over the hills safely Kev, solar setup sounds like super overkill. Hope the driving instructor navigated calmly without too many nerves (g'day Kim). We made it all the way to Rich River Golf Resort in Moama, great camp, good meals at the club & surprise, surprise, sharing it with Kevin & Di (great company). Leaving here tomorrow, probably for Nyah recreation reserve as have booked the ute in at Mildura Friday for service (can't rush these big trips, lol).
Farewell to Greens Lake - here is a list of those who visited while we were there -
Left Greens Lake on January 3rd, after a terrific 13 weeks meeting amazing people, Grey Nomads as well as others
Thanks to the GNs who came to visit, some to stay for a while, some just for a day
If I have missed anyone please forgive me
