add a roll of plumbers tape to that, and I'd be happy.

Hear hear to plumbers tape. Always telling hubby - 'Try a bit of plumbers tape'.
PS Sometimes though the taps won't work because there's too much tape on them!

Zip ties, (cable ties) are also essential. Three things my son in law swears by , WD40, duct tape and cable ties.

Correct, and its not the tap that leaks, its the hose connection washer.
Don't put tape on taps!!

Wd40 and duct tape have been in the kit for along time now. And cable ties. They sure can get you out of some tight spots. Glad to see it come up every now and then for newby travelers . Yep, and don't forget the spare set of glasses. Helps when you can see what your doing too. Not good when you stand on your good pair in the middle of nowhere.
