I'm visiting family in NSW at the moment and they have a beautifull little lady (fox Terrier) 6 yr old which they rescued to be a companion for their other young lady while they are all at work and school. Unfortunately, the little foxy is a wonderful companion for people (my cousin Shari especially) but won't have a bar of the other dog. They are about to return her to the foster home but I suggested I put something on here because I know there are so many of you who travel with a companIon animal and this little lady would be perfect for a traveler or someone who is home a lot and needs a friend. she does not wander ever while everyone is home but she is not keen to keep Molly (their other dog) company while everyone is at work and school. Just thought I'd see if there is anyone out there interested before they return her to the foster home. I'm heading back to Vic on the weekend so could meet up with someone on the way if you are interested.
Hope someone out there is looking for a house trained, kind natured little lady as a companion.
Happy New year all,
Tess

Don't think I'm going to get another one Tess. At least not yet. Losing Angel is still too fresh.
Cheers,
Sheba.

I would be as they are a cute dog but SWMBO isn't and we are in Esperance so a tad far to collect. At this stage we are travelling alone. Don't think it is fair on the dog but threads do suggest that the dogs probably enjoy the travel as much as their slaves, sorry, masters do.

That's fine Bunkerbob not a problem. She would make a wonderful companion dog. Her name is Stella. She is very loyal to her master and is happy to sit and enjoy what's happening around her. Certainly doesn't take up too much space.
I'm so sorry Sheba I must have missed that news. It is very hard losing a friend like that isn't it? You will certainly miss the company. You get very attached to them don't you?
