Just in case everybody has forgotten it, the most dangerous place to be when there are thunderstorms around is an open beach or similar. For when you are standing on that flat beach guess what's the tallest thing there. Just a reminder !!!!

Years ago in the Riverland South Australia where I lived, a mate who was a town character, made a trendy hat out of his Beer cans, by cutting flat beer can pieces, and attaching to a regular army giggle hat, we all envied his 'flash' hat with all the different beer labels, and wanted one...he went out on the golf course wearing it, and was struck by lightning and killed.... one of those times where it isn't raining, just eerily still/humid..with clouds forming.....only in early twenties...proved to be deadly, his aluminium hat.....we didn't want a beer can hat after that happened.....Hoo Roo......
Watch out for stormy weather. Lightning bites and often doesn't give a second chance.
