Already the shops are open in the cities doing Boxing Day sales. Thankfully only the "convenience" store opens here. Its all about getting us to spend and spend, then spend some more, doesn't matter whether we have any need for all this "stuff" . Theres people on the same planet as us who are starving to death, retail spending does nothing to help those who are hungry/cold/homeless.
Geez that sounds cynical... sorry folks!

Woolies also gave their staff 2 days of holidays in this suburb of Newcastle. It would be good if it was the same everywhere.

Come to think of it she did mention something about a pesky wombat stalking her and how she had to get the local Sherif to remove him.
