Christmas Greetings to all our nomad friends. We have enjoyed the company we have been privileged to experience the last couple of years. We hope all our vehicle problems are behind us and look forward to meeting up with many of you over in WA next year.
The caravan manufacturer in Melbourne fixed all the problems with the van, electrical, stove falling apart, fridge coming a bit loose, just had to pay half the cost of new shock absorbers. Considering we were 12 months out of warranty I think they were very generous.
The last month of travelling the clear view mirror on my side (driver's side) kept folding in when a B double passed us. Called in to their base in Campbellfield while we were down there and they pulled the mirror off there and then, dismantled it, replaced a part, (at no charge), and now it's as good as new. Time will tell when we get back on the road.
So Lorraine and I are very happy with the treatment we received from the respective suppliers in Melbourne.
Christmas day will be spent here in our family home with our extended families (expect about 30 plus children). The forecast is for a wet day on Wednesday - they have been known to be wrong on a regular basis. Let's hope they are wrong again this time!
Merry Christmas everyone.
By the way I also have reached the status of Guru, watch out Marj.

That's a very god report on the tug and van. Came out of all the issues fairly well. Trust the family gathering goes well and the weather behaves it's self. Hopefully we will catch up with you two in WA next year. Have a great and joy filled Christmas and a great 2014.
All the best
Brian, Cheryl, and the girls.

I wish you both all the very best for the festive season and new year. It is a pleasure to have met you and spent some time with you both and hope I get to see you again on your return to OZ. We need you back ASAP as the economy is not looking the best.
Enjoy the time with your family and friends but take time out for you two as well.
