Yep, got to the goldie & back with no probs. Thanks for all the well wishes on friday, Great to see the family again, even the changes in the little one over the last couple of weeks,they change so quick.
With so much road works going on its even a slower trip now. The Woolgoolga by pass opened today so that helped, but every time we get a new section the then extend or lower the speed limit some where else & you seem to loose more than we gain. The truck accident at Coffs was just cleared as we came through, it was one of those huge concrete girders being escorted north & 6.00am when the hydraulic steer on the trailer failed & allowed it to topple off onto the roadway.
Cheers;
JC.

Glad you missed the Coffs Harbour incident, was listening about it on the radio.
Is the Woolgoolga section open completely, have to drive to the Gold Coast and back on Friday. Drove from Crescent Head to Cowra today and will be back in Crescent tomorrow.

Woolly; only the Woolgoolga township is bypassed, the section between Coffs & Woolgoolga is all roadworks @ 80kl.Big road works between grafton & Woodburn ,again around Bangalow. Its a slow trip & watch for the candy cars in these areas.
