we have had conflicting stories about free camping at Clairview. Can we stay overnight. Has anyone stayed recently. Would welcome your comments

We stayed there overnight in May, pleasant spot, not too close to the highway, though you can hear some trucks. There are toilets and bbq's and a 24 hour limit. There is a donation box on site. Most mornings there is somebody there selling cakes and crafts from a community building.
I was there in July 2012 and photos plus comment can be found in the above link.

We were there October 2013. Nice place, stayed 2nights, brought some pickles from the stall inside the building. Loved the murals painted on the walls.
Cheers

I have never stayed there but have had work mates there & visited them. Very nice but a long way to the water for fish at low tide.
Other than that I quite liked it.
