Very droll.
Recently, I rescued a string of cars from the 'car spectator area' at the footy. A very gentle grassy slope and a light shower did it. Heeey, who would have thought that it couldn't be resolved by violent wheel spin?
One humble Landcruiser and so many desperates. No locked centre diff, no low range, just, "Hey, I notice you have no decent towing point so we will be slow and gentle, but it is upon your head. Or do you want to wait until the sun dries things out tomorrow, maybe?"
Offer of free drinks from a thankful groundsman for preventing more damage from being done. (refused, but next time when I had a co-pilot and no kids to transport, maybe)
