Have sewed for years and thought I would have a go at making my own hose bags...like the ones you can buy at camping shops for the hoses to be stored in for travelling.
anyone done this? Got some measurements so I could have a go.
Or have a hose bag you could take the measurements from and post here?
thanks :)

I must be missing something...why would you make a bag for hoses ?

Everyone has them countryroad. Well, almost everyone.
I have a couple of those cheaply zip bags from the cheaply shops. The smallest size works a treat.

Countryroad - if you have limited space then a hose bag is by far the most efficient way to carry your hose.
Buffy - I just measured mine - without allowing for seams the diameter of the big circle is 32cm, diameter of the hole is 18cm and the height is 13cm. Hope that helps.

We use a 'standard' bought Hose Bag for our 10 metre fresh water hose, but before we used it, we tried to fit our (at that point in time, brand new unused) 10 metre 25mm corrugated sullage hose to see if it would fit - no way ! So, Von made us a new bag out of spare vinyl she had lying around - she used the Hose bag as a reference, but made all dimensions 125% of the original - the sullage hose fits easily now !

Happy Wanderer, aha, thank you!!! The thought of making one didn't appeal, so your idea is very timely
