I was driving along in my tug today and on the side of the road was wombat, on his back, pointing to the sky. I stopped, looked up and couldn't see anything but blue sky. I moved him over a bit so he didn't get hit by a passing car. I think wombat must have been still getting over Melbourne Cup happy hour. The flys liked him though.

You're right there Gaz, I remember hitting one - killed the bugger but it ripped the oil pan off the car - had to wait 2 hours before another car came along and then longer still for the tow truck. Not a great night.

Thank goodness it wasn't you wombat, mate. Did you notice, thinking it was you, I had your best interest at heart and moved him to safer ground
