These planes are common in outback QLD, and are comfortable to travel in. I had been a passenger in one a number of times, and even weathered a thunderstorm, trying to get to Lizard Is. , 60 miles nth of Cooktown. Entertaining to say the least. The rear of the plane was partitioned off with a cargo net, and in the turbualnce, the cargo was floating in the air! Great aircraft. Hope you get to fly one soon. Bill

Ahhhh, those screen shots are making me itchy to get back into flight sims. About 20 years ago I took an 'introductory' flying lesson out of the old Hoxton Park aerodrome in Sydney (cost about $10 I think) which I thought would be no more than a joy flight. The pilot put me in the real pilot's seat (left-hand side) and pretty much handed the controls over to me - I took off, did most of the flying, did the circuit of the aerodrome prior to landing and even lined it up with the runway for the landing approach (when I started wondering/worrying if he was expecting me to land it as well) before he took over for the touch down. If only I could have afforded the flying lessons I would have signed up on the spot!

jpw50, have a look at P3D the new version 2 is due out very soon, just get the student version for about $50 then go from there, you will be hooked.
With enough speed up you can get a house brick to fly the trick is getting back on the ground in one piece . I fly rotary wing, at least if it all goes pear shape a landing spot isn't hard to find. They will all come down eventually and everyone you walk away from is a good landing Good luck with your training itmay look complex but it's really not all that hard to do. I have periods of total boredom and other times of pure exhilaration.

problem with the house brick is they need a longer runway.

BG that looks great, but I had to copy your link and then paste it into the address bar of my browser and insert the words c o c k twice, I think it has something to do with the GN site not allowing the word c o c k, so I have now copied and will post the sting back here and see how it goes
Did not work, ok anybody that want to see this just copy and paste the link to your browser and change the **** to c o c k without the spaces, do this for both words and you will see BG link.

I was thinking maybe use the word penis instead of c o c k pit, na on second thoughts I don't think that would help the link work.
Well look at that they allow penis but not c o c k, do not blame Cindy its the site's fault

Funny you should mention that Wombat. I tried to post last nite without the Quote from Milo and a message came back saying the post looked like spam and required Administration approval. When my post didn't appear this morning, I reposted again with Milo's quote and it was accepted. I didn't check the link as you obviously did so your post will assist others who wish to view the A380 co....ooops Flight Deck !
