I am now the proud Grandmother to twins, a boy and a girl, as yet unnamed. I'm so happy they are well, although premature and very small, and their Mum is ok....
But I'm miserable because we came all the way to Brisbane and now I cant go and visit them because I have a cold and am infectious! Such frustration!

Hey Gerty that's great news, hope they are doing well, get the garlic and horseradish into yourself so that you get well to pay them a visit for a little cuddle.

Many congrats Gerty. Grandbabies are the best. Saw our newest
Grandson this afternoon. For the first time in 3 weeks.
I put lipstick on and kissed him all over.
My daughter was not impressed.
I developed a cold sore when he was born so it was weeks before I could kiss him.
If you feel like a catch up pm me .

Grandchild number 8 will arrive in March 2014.
Most of my kids were premmies...born at 29 weeks, 38 weeks, 30 weeks, 25 weeks and we lost our last son at 21 1/2 weeks.
They are now 31, 28, 24 and 17.
