Some may remember that I met up with a French girl travelling north to Cairns for the first time and we met at Stott's River Nature Reserve near Tweed Heads. I spent some hours with her telling her of some of the best free camps that I had stayed at and staged them out with suitable driving distances.
We met up again at Boulder Creek and had a great time cooking over the open fire and swimming in the creek, later we met up again by chance at Babinda and during these meet ups Laure had said that she was preparing an article for the Huffington Post and kept asking me questions.
This is the end result and of course it is written in French but I was able to copy the website address into Google Translator and come up with an understandable copy. Because it concentrates on my nomadic lifestyle I thought some GN's may be interested it compares our elder citizens lifestyles with those from France who apparently don't go off independently touring Europe.

No mention of John's jaffles? Interesting article though, and a feather in the cap for our intrepid traveller.

Yes I remember the photo John of her underwear strung from you vehicle.
Are you able to scan a copy of your translation and post it on here please,
Thanks
Vic PS: Nice shot of you.
...............
I noticed she said that the Camps book was our "Bible" John. Wish I could remember more French. Would be great to see an English translation.
