This is the first town inside Vic when travelling the Western Highway, and is about 4 Km off the road (bitumen) The site itself is the recreation reserve 1.5Km south of the town. VERY quiet location. Has powered and unpowered sites. $10.00 for unpowered, $15.00 powered, pay at the general store and they will organise for the showers/toilets to be unlocked if required. If you are fully self reliant then you can stop for free, but we thought it was a cheap way of helping with maintenance of the area. No dump point at this site. (There is one at Horsham in the street in front of the Caravan park).

We have stayed here before and had a good night's rest - it's very quiet and peaceful. Not a lot to do in the area... but if you have been travelling...all you need is a nice quiet spot for the night, a good hot shower and some power if you need it. It's cheap, clean and well maintained. Parking is on gravel. 4 x powered sites available.
Happy Travels,
Marnie

This is a great spot for an overnight stay at $15 per night powered. There are 8 power points, on gravel hard-stand. It would be a bit cramped if 8 rigs were camped, depending on size, but it will accommodate big rigs. We are the only people here tonight so have plenty of room and complete peace and quiet.
The amenities are very good, fresh and clean, good pressure hot water, shower curtains and dry change area. The hand basins have liquid soap and paper towels.
There is a games room where you can play table tennis and pool if you want.
There are water taps but it is non-potable bore water. No dump point.
The general store will take the fees and arrange for the power to be turned on and the amenities opened. If the store is closed there are several phone numbers on a sign on the amenities wall.
