I was sipping a ****tail while reading a DICKens book when I heard a ****atoo squawking overhead. In the distance I heard the ****-a-doodle-doo of a rooster which reminded me that my ****-a-leekie soup was just about ready. Just then my ****er spaniel chased a ****roach out of the kitchen. That's what you get when you buy your pest repellents from Dick Smith, I thought. The alcohol was making me feel CRAPulent, so I grabbed an ANALgesic from the cabinet where I had an ARSEnal of medicines.

The French would be disappointed that their national emblem is being censored.
Do they get to scream "Diiiiiiisssssscrimination!"? Or is that reserved for the identified victim groups who make money out of it?

So that's why David Koch pronounces his name Cosh (i.e. Loch, I think the Scottish is more appropriate in his case.). I can remember a rugby player, ****burn pronouncing his name Coeburn.

Agree Dorian . This so-called " Political correctness " is way out of control .
C00ckatoos and c00ker spaniels have been around for hundreds of years .

So what happens if I use the correct word, penis? There ya go. It's only when you use slang that you're being naughty. Isn't life strange?

Bazza2 it is the built in word censor in the forum software which does not recognise legitimate words with certain combinations of letters in them.

If its not violating any forum rules to do so then I dont see the problem .
Actually it make sense really . The question of why and how swear filters work is a common one throughout the interverse , so if someone can slot their question into an existing thread rather than start another thread on the same topic then why not ?

Swoffer, the trouble with adding to an old thread is it still keeps it's position in the forum if you don't have your settings adjusted to bring new posts to the top.
In other words, for new members who may not know they can adjust their settings to view new posts or visitors who are not registered, they will not see the subject thread and the new post as it will remain buried further down the chain.

Sounds good to me too. Also when doing a search, you have relevant posts in just a few topics, rather than a swag of topics. Might make it easier when people want to get advice about something that has been discussed several times already too.

The Fremantle Dockers are moving to C0ckburn, I guess they will have a name change and become the C**kerdockers. I live in C0ckburn, but to write about it here on the forum, I will have to call it Penisburn. Such a stupid name.
