and The Lone Ranger fired silver bullets. The girls listened to the ghastly 'When a Girl Marries'.
If I ever had my many farm chores done to listen to the Lone Ranger that is, which was never.
I was very surprised when we moved close to a city to find out that other children had the time to devote to leisure activities.

Sigh...
For me, many years back in Blighty, it was The Billy Cotton Band Show (Wakey Waakey), Worker's Playtime and Winifred Atwell on the pianer...
Nostalgia isn't what it used to be...

By golly a bloke is getting old when you think back like this, and it only seems like yesterday,it's no wonder the grand kids call me PA, I think that I should have done more in my life ,but when your working helping your kids out buying a home a person didn't have time, enough remernissing.
