Neat idea. I brought some LED strips off ebay and have installed them inside the vehicle at the back and also in the trailer and another run along the ladder rack on the trailer for outside lighting at night. Bit of a pain to wire up but they work well (the ones I got came un-wired do-it-yourself jobs).

How reliable they are is another thing.
I was sick of throwing money away on cheap outside LED lights...So this is why I turned to these after many rave reviews from people who have them.
May go down that path for a doorway light.
*** CAUTION ***
The adds that Hako spotted that look as if they are for motion sensitive LED lights for $1 MAY be misleading.
I believe the add is actually for LED pearls not got the spotlight as shown, they are about $18 in a related add.
