Various reasons, don't like driving manuals although I have been a truckie, having to store the van elsewhere between trips, health and mobility to name a few.........

Thanks John,
I sold it on Gumtree, I wasn't getting much response and had a couple of time wasters (and the usual scam replies), so amended the ad to say if it didn't sell over the weekend I was removing it from Gumtree taking it to a dealer (which was true, I was going to put it on consignment). I got a flurry of offers, a couple of ridiculous ones but a few genuine ones as well. I think people were holding out hoping I would get desperate and drop the price.
I didn't get as much as I had hoped for but very close to my asking price and ok, so happy with the result. I didn't have any parking at home for the RV and was having to store it elsewhere, that and a couple of health issues gave it a bit of urgency. I liked the people I sold it to which helps too.

We still keep in touch with the people we bought our caravan off.
We just seemed to click
They said they knew we loved the van the minute we saw it.
They then knew it would be going to a good home

Thanks Ralph and Kaid, yes it does make a difference, having lunch with them at their place on Sunday for the big "handover".
