I have one nicely fitted in a Drawer that will be a real bugger to get out and has suddenly stopped draining.
We have only used it a couple of times and the previous owner never used.
Any clues how to fix? can the pump be accessed thru the top or do I have to dismantle the drawer to get it out?
Does anyone have any good techs in the Geelong area?
appreciate any help.
cheers
Mike

Is it the automatic 2.2 kg, if so access is from the back and underneath. It has most likely got a blockage in the drain pump

Do what I did and pull it out and throw the bloody thing in the bin.( I did pull it out and gave it to a G/N staying in the caravan park ) They thought I had given them the queens jewels .

I agree with you herbie we had one in the Coromal and it was a Bas#&rd of a thing talk about cheap parts the outlet and inlet hoses are so thin they fracture, and flood the dam van out I practically had to rebuild the thing with clamps and clear piping from Bunnings. It is one thing that I will not miss in out new van that is for sure.

I have a fantastic washing machine on board the motorhome - 20ltr bucket and a paint stirrer - total cost - about $15.00!!!!!!!! The paint stirrer is a round plastic disc with holes in it, that fits on a chrome and plastic handle - you are supposed to use a drill attachment to stir paint - I use the removable handle from a mop, screw that in - do some deep thinking while plunging the washing up and down - use eucalyptus wool wash, so no need to rinse, so I save on water!!!!
I know some people use a funnel with holes drilled in it, attached to a broom handle - that works well too!!!
Nothing to break down or flood the place!!!!

Mike, if you want someone to do it in Geelong try Prestige Caravan Repairs, they are near Prestige Jayco but a different company. I found them very helpful and reasonable. I do most of my own work but ran out of time once and they were extremely helpful and fitted me in.

A happy wife is a quiet life.
Our washing machine 5h1t itself on the second day of our travels, 1st time the Mrs used it!!! Took three months to get a new one sorted out through the manufacturer as we were VERY remote at the time, but the day I put the new one in, well, it was like heaven all over again. Don't listen to the slayers do what you know has to be done.
