open a large tin of fruit peaches pears or plums etc into the camp oven
with the juice
then add a packet of home brand cake mix pour over the top of the fruit
sprinkle cinnamon sugar on top with a couple of dobs of butter or marg
put the lid on sit it on top of the fire for about 20 to 30 min
presto you have a lovely hot pudding serves about 4 to 6 people
Started to tell a friend about this recipe this morning, and she gave me her variation, which she cooks in her oven at home.
1 Packet Frozen Berries.
1 Packet plain Cake-mix. [She uses everything Home-brand.]
1 or 1 1/2 tins of Lemonade, depending on whether the Berries are a Small or Large Pack.
Put in the berries, cover with Cake-mix, and pour Lemonade in.
DO NOT MIX.
Bake in a Moderate oven, 'til the top is Brown.
Cheers,
Sheba.
