I think you could be right about it being a photo-shop picture Dorian. Looking at the shadows on the side of the car, they don't match the tree-branch beside it.
Darn! I was hoping it might be a nesting-box for some high-flying chooks!
Dunmowin... I don't think that truck has been photo-shopped, I'll bet the driver wished it was!

It's areal photo I seen it featured in Norm Darwins book above but I can not recall the story other than it was stuck there after a flood back in the 60's

I have a photo somewhere of a two seater couch high up in a tree near the Brisbane River. It was after the 2011 floods and there were all sorts of things caught up in the trees.

That one is legit, I have the same photo. It is on the Tin Horse Highway in the WA Wheatbelt.
Cheers!

Correct, the photo of the truck on the hill was not photo shopped. here is another view....we were on our way to Wave Rock.

Yes Beth, I have seen that too, but don't have a photo. Also out on Mt Lindsay Highway (Qld), towards or past Rathdowney, there is an old red toyota sedan hanging from a tree. Has anyone else seen it?

Yep, it's still there Dunmowin. I passed it on my way to Bigriggin Campground over the weekend, but there was nowhere to stop and take a photo. It's been intentionally hung there.

Good one GD . A rare bird indeed !
You really have to wonder how and why some people park their vehicles.....
