I see you've run into that problem too. Mate and I went to Macca's last night and asked for 2 Quarter Pounder burgers. The girl asked us what size? Apparently a 1/4 of a pound now comes in small, medium and large! Yanks, God bless 'em.

I like that Spida and unfortunately they are unable to legislate again stupidity or lack of common-sense. Mores the pity at times.

If you were ordering the meal with it, the small medium and large is actually for the drinks and chips size, not the burger. Just had to explain that, sorry.

Unfortunately "Common Sense" has never been common. I worked for the federal govt and rarely saw any examples of it. And our favourite phone company?............well, on one occasion when asked my DOB I said 24/06/51 and the girl asked "is that 1951"? WTF!!! And in the course of an online "live chat" with a techie from the same carrier I was asked if I had access to a computer! Conclusion? common sense is a most uncommon commodity.
