Is there a version of wikicamps that will work on a laptop or personal computer?I have the android version on my smartphone, but would like to use it on the laptop. Can anybody tellme if one exists. Thanks, Bill

I have a copy of the wikicamps on laptop, a fellow traveller gave it to me & said that he just downloaded it. As for me I'm not that smart with these things.He transfered it via a stick & I have passed it on as well, same way.

My version of WikiCamps never crashes, never needs charging, I don't have to wait for it to boot up and it's very reliable. It's called 'Camps Australia'

I have that version,also, but want one on my COMPUTER! someplaces are on one but not the other. Win8 version comong, or so I am told. Bill

This has been a bug with me. wickicamps on the ipad is ok so long as you have internet connection. As noted there is not a wikicamps for the PC but you can get the Camps 6 or Camps 7 POI files for the PC/laptop. It depends what you are running. In my case I have the Camps 7 POI file that sits on the PC with OziExplorer and also on my Hema HN6 GPS, the iGo and also the Ozi 4WD section.
Yes have the book as well, you can't tell when technology is gong to fail.
