Interesting.....type in your year and click on the question mark, the screen will fade black and the presentation begins, sit back and enjoy, no need to do anything else, see;
Too longwinded for me Vic. Watched some, but found nothing outstanding, and being over my Quota already, switched off.
Cheers,
Sheba.

Afraid it didn't really relate for me either Vic. Sadly, the post-war Europe I was born into was more concerned with getting enough to eat than movies and literature. And I clearly remember a fairly recent time when there was no Google!

No worries, I found mine interesting, I don't think it would be too much of a download as it is text, not pictures.....

Once you hit submit I don't think you can, I just do edit and delete the text and just type duplication or something, some others might know how

Thanks for the link. I really enjoyed it. Felt a bit eerie though when those years began to run backwards at the start and the screen faded to black. Kind of reminded me when you're on the operating table and the anaesthetist tells you to count backwards from 10 to 0
It must have been an American site though? I never saw a television until 1959 (I was born in early '54) and we didn't have a TV in our house until just after the Beatles arrived in Australia
Cheers,
Aime.

It will be the same as mine Sheba.......I mostly relate mine to the bombing of Pearl Harbour, which occurred in the same year, but a couple of months later being the most historical thing that happened in 1941.
Your right about the dark fading Aime, a bit like rising from the dead! LOL
