Thanks mate that site seems to answer his problem. Must see if my Pathfinder has a similar requirement I always tow in full auto and let the vehicle do the thinking for me I d sometimes use the triptronic and shift down one cog when I feel it should and it hasn't. Many Thanks for your reply

The reason I'm aware of such clubs/forums is that before buying my Territory I researched quite a few vehicles....not sure if it helped because after you buy the car you discover 'quirks'. :

Question 1 Should he drive in 4WD H 4 when towing as per Mitsubishi owners manual
Question 2 Should he drive in 4th or in Drive auto
