Well, I did say three days & it feels like it was a full on 3 days & yes we did make it back in one peice with no problems.
NO, she didn't buy a Jeep, nor a yank tank..BUT!
What did we buy you have been asking, ok
We bought a dual cab, tray back IVECO.
The waiting time was to have the 3.1x2.1 mtr alloy tray built to our requirements, a 4tonn towbar fitted & a bullbar as well.
The plan at this time is to build a 2.4 mtr long steel framed alloy clad canopy for the tray with a boat loader & racks for the top.
The remaining 900mm of tray will house the outboard motor & the rear section of the boat trailer. The A-frame & pole of the trailer will be stored in a 3.1mtr long storage locker that I had incorperated under the tray, this will also house any other long items that will be carried.
So there will be a few weeks of serious work going on to bring it all together, along with new UHF, the building of accessory batteries storage along with the fitting of my DC-DC chargers etc.
Will post some pics in the next day or two.

Congratulations JC, hope the additions don't take too long before it's ready for your next trip.
Iveco have a good reputation and are very reliable according to someone I know who has a truck business and uses that brand.

Truly magnificent Jim. You and Leonie should be very happy with the new addition to the family and you only had another one a few weeks back. Great stuff. Try and not work too hard though.

Do not believe what wombat says, JC , he has a vested interest in you not putting one on ?? be aware that that although IVECO are a great reliable truck, They are NOT wombat proof ?? and your warranty will be Void, if not fitted
